Peckham basement refurb

Creation of home office and cellar space in the basement.

Our clients came to us as a cry for help after an unfortunate experience with previous building contractors. The brief was to create a bright working space in an existing basement that had suffered condensation and damp issues, because of lack of ventilation.

A new opening was made to the ground floor so that an accessible staircase could be fitted and airflow enhanced. The challenges in this project also included repair ing the wet underfloor heating system (damaged during unsuccessful previous building works).

We sourced all material for this project, including :

- Eco vinyl flooring

- Acrylic wall panelling

- Gold mosaic tiles

- Gold wall lights

- Gold flash round ceiling lights

- Marine grade plywood for bespoke shelves, wine cellar counter top and boxing up of the pipe work.

We also designed the electrical plan, for optimum use of this new and trendy flexible work and play space, which ended up being a fantastic addition to this already very cool home.
